Identification notes
Owner-supplied Etsy listing 4594243078 records 51 cm width, 220 cm total continuous length and sale by the metre. A 2 m order includes the remaining 20 cm free.
The all-over composition has small scalloped blossoms and fine dots amid looping scrolling vines. Chanzhi wen (缠枝纹) is an appropriate broad decorative classification; individual flower species, including a hibiscus identification, are not established.
Continuous floral vines commonly evoke growth and flourishing in Chinese decorative arts, but no object-specific historical intention is documented.
The blue-and-white print is associated by the owner with Lan Yin Hua Bu (蓝印花布); the specific resist agent, application equipment, dye chemistry and exact place of manufacture have not been independently verified.
The woven cotton has a soft, substantial hand with slubs and slight irregularity. These visual characteristics do not independently prove hand-spun yarn or a particular loom.
Part of the ivory print shows gentle yellowing near the centre. This is documented age-related variation, not described as a modern uniform white ground.
Suitable for small sewing projects, patchwork, slow stitching, book covers, decorative textile panels, or textile study. Original continuous length is finite.
Scrolling blossoms across an uninterrupted vintage length
Small flowerheads and curling stems form a continuous botanical rhythm across the narrow cotton.
The surviving 220 cm continuous length provides useful evidence of how a small-scale repeated print reads over a larger surface.
Subtle printing variation, natural yarn texture and localized yellowing remain visible parts of the old textile.
